We work directly with schools and districts to bring our curriculum to campus.
CURRICULUM & TOOLS:
We provide all of the teacher guides, lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, student workbooks, worksheets, and assessment tools. CURRICULUM A proprietary curriculum developed and vetted by entrepreneurial leaders that serves as the foundation for taking students through problem identification, theory of change, team formation, solution development, customer segmentation, market sizing, business model, revenue structure, legal structure, key allies, and pitch practice. TOOLS An online portal for teachers to easily communicate with SEED SPOT, download resources, access expert videos, and gain best practices from other teachers. |
TRAINING & SUPPORT:
We provide bi-annual, in-person teacher training that prepares teachers to teach the course with confidence. TEACHER SUPPORT A dedicated staff person from SEED SPOT NEXT conducts regular site visits and serves "on-call" for any teacher who needs additional assistance to implement the curriculum. SUPPORT Access to a network of mentors, content experts, and entrepreneurs who are able to host office hours for students, respond to questions via phone/email, Skype into the classroom for some inspiration, or come on a site-visit (based on geographic proximity). |
ENGAGEMENT:
We know how to showcase student ideas. Select student teams from each campus will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas on the big stage. ON CAMPUS SHOW CASE The program culminates with a DEMO DAY on campus where students pitch their solutions to a live community audience including peers, parents, teachers, and community leaders. The school community selects which student teams attend the National DEMO DAY. NATIONAL DEMO DAY One team from each campus is selected to pitch at the National DEMO DAY; an event attended by over 500 business and educational thought-leader. Prizes are awarded to top teams. |
