WHAT TYPES OF SCHOOLS DO YOU WORK WITH?
While our curriculum can be modified, it was designed for High Schools. We work any type of school; public, private, charter, montessori or independent.

WHO TEACHES THE PROGRAM?
We use a train-the-trainer model, so we will fly the super passionate teacher you chose out for teacher training 2x / year.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?
The program is comprised of 24 different modules. While it can be taught over one semester, it is designed as a full-year course.

WHAT DO WE GET IF WE ARE A SEED SPOT NEXT SCHOOL?
Bi-annual teacher training, monthly phone support, teacher manual, full-curriculum complete with daily lesson plans/PPT presentations/worksheets, and an opportunity for students to compete at the annual National DEMO DAY.

HOW DO MY STUDENTS MAKE IT TO DEMO DAY?
We help each school host a mini-DEMO DAY showcase on campus where those who attend select the top team to fly to the national DEMO DAY showcase.

WHERE AND WHEN IS NATIONAL DEMO DAY?
The National DEMO DAY rotates locations around the country and is held over the summer. Students compete for in-kind prizes, access to mentors, and cash.

DO STUDENTS ACTUALLY LAUNCH THEIR BUSINESS IDEAS?
Some do, and some do not. The end goal is for students to see themselves as change-agents, entrepreneurs, and innovators ready to tackle any problem they are passionate about - whether during the program or beyond. ​

WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO APPLY?
The sooner the better. We have limited spots every year so we encourage schools to sign up well before the school year starts.

IS THERE A FEE?
There is a fee. SEED SPOT is a nonprofit organization so we try to keep our fees reasonable and we work with each school on an individual basis to ensure money is not the barrier to students having access to this program.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
We try to make it easy. One fee covers all on-boarding, teacher training, on-going support, curriculum materials, and student swag. We even cover flights, hotel, and food for teacher training.

DOES SEED SPOT OWN THE STUDENT IDEAS?
No, SEED SPOT has no stake in the student ideas - students are empowered to take ownership of their own venture concepts.
